COURSE DESCRIPTION

Throughout this course, you will be provided with an introduction into the general data protection regulation (GDPR) which became part of the data protection act in 2018.

You will also consider your role in preventing information breaches with your role. You will be provided with examples of information breaches and the implications this could have.

You will learn the skills required to implement GDPR and work with sensitive personal data.

In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.

• Be able to explain what information falls under GDPR

• Know what is expected of an organisation in regards to data security and gaining consent
• Know what rights data subjects have under GDPR
